Please consider the following CIC description from our league position responsibilities:* Will be experienced with a strong coaching background who serves as the administrative link to USA Hockey and its Coaching education program. Their role will be to organize and manage the CEP requirements, assist the local association in the development of a well-trained coaching staff, promote parent education and provide clear goals and objectives for player skill development. Is responsible for planning, organizing and executing periodic skills workshops for coaches, players and parents, evaluate practice sessions and provide feedback to coaches to improve the coaching capability, establish and maintain a resource center for coaches, players and parents that would include USA Hockey materials, communicate certification requirements of coaches and ensure compliance with USA Hockey & Affiliate certification levels, encourage local association to implement the USA Hockey skill development and Cross ice programs.

Below are some of the specific duties the CIC may be responsible for with PJIF:* -Select and recommend qualified coaches -Ensure all coaches have all paperwork and trainings completed within required timeframes -Communicate with all coaches to uncover potential needs -Approve and assign student coaches -Stay up to date on USA Hockey, SYTHL, SAHOF and SAHA Rules & Regulations -Work with coaches to determine team schedules
